After years of searching, I've finally discovered a delicate Vetiver variant, Vetiver Coeur, with a soothing heart note that eliminates the typically strong and bitter aspects of Vetiver root. Vetiver Coeur opens with a unique and long-lasting citrus accord, followed by a blend of Iris, Orange Flower, and Rose. This harmonious composition eventually unveils the anticipated Vetiver base note, offering a smoldering, velvety essence.

Known as the "Oil of Tranquility" and "The Fragrance of the Soil," Vetiver's grounding and calming aroma brings harmony. In India, it's considered a sacred herb, capable of pacifying anger and quelling passions that cloud judgment. Its name, "Vetiver," originates from the Tamil word for "root that is dug up."

The Vetiver plant used in Vetiver Coeur hails from Haiti, where its cultivation supports around 60,000 people as their primary income source. This Vetiver is sourced sustainably and ethically, benefiting rural communities and encouraging responsible and eco-friendly Vetiver oil production.
